I am a Registered Psychologist licensed to practice psychology in British Columbia and Alberta. I am currently based in Richmond and Vancouver, BC, and I specialize in educational assessments and child psychology. I earned my Bachelors of Psychology, Bachelors of Education, and Diploma in Special Education at the University of British Columbia and my Masters of Educational Psychology at the University of Calgary.
I offer comprehensive psychoeducational assessments that are strength-based focused on ways to support the individual. Before working as a psychologist, I was a learning resource teacher in the public school system. I have experience in assessment and intervention for children, adolescents, and adults with ADHD, learning disorders, intellectual disabilities, giftedness, behavioural difficulties, trauma, and emotional concerns. I am passionate about early intervention, and I specialize in reading intervention.
In all the educational roles I have held, I emphasize the importance of collaboration. By collaborating with the individual and others that know the individual well, various perspectives on how to best support the individual and build their learning potential are gained. I am happy to offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation to address any queries.
